Tiffany and Co. Ushers In a New ‘Era’

Who doesn’t love Tiffany’s?  That signature blue box, that luxurious style – they have us at ‘hello’ every time.

With the debut of a brand-new collection, there are even more ways to fall for the legendary jeweler. Rhonda Sargent Chambers has the scoop.

One of my favorite jewelry designers is Donald Claflin, who collaborated with Tiffany & Co. from 1966 to 1977.  He was whimsical and playful in his creations, and they have inspired Tiffany’s newly-unveiled ‘Era’ collection.

Wide bangles and dimensional pendants gleam in 18 karat gold and sterling silver, spelling out the word L-O-V-E. The designs are squared and slightly contoured, with the four sides serving as polished panels for Claflin’s bold cutouts.

I especially enjoy how these pieces draw the eye to decipher their graphic lettering. Tiffany also offers its famous logo, T&CO., in this striking motif.

Superbly crafted, the ‘Era’ collection captures the original design’s joyful expression of love and compliments the rich, luxurious layers of fall fashion. Best of all, the collection is available at Tiffany & Co. at NorthPark Center right now.
