Among a bumper crop of new fall additions at NorthPark, a designer first and a Barcelona import are on our must-visit list.
Hot on the heels of the news of Trina Turk’s Dallas debut, we’re excited to share updates on two more newcomers to our local shopping scene.
Both Elie Tahari and Desigual are now open at NorthPark Center, among a lengthy roster of new additions and relocations at the mall. With all the excitement surrounding the grand opening of H&M last month, these two slipped in under the radar – but they’re both worth a visit.
First up, Elie Tahari is located near Michael Kors on Level One, between Barneys New York and Neiman Marcus. This new boutique is the first and only in Texas, so far for the brand. A look at Elie Tahari’s Fall 2011 Collection reveals plenty of black lace accents, as well as fur vests and jackets, and luxe separates for day and evening.
Moving on, Desigual is aimed a younger, more casual clientele. Currently operating 200 brand stores worldwide, this is the Barcelona-based clothing and accessories company’s first location in the DFW area. Inside, expect to find affordable, colorful clothes, heavy on prints and knitwear. Casual handbags feature boho-chic cloth patchwork and laser-cut details. Desigual is located on Level One, near the Disney store, between Macy’s and Dillard’s.
