A pair of much-anticipated, appointment-worthy shopping events are coming up in September. Grab your calendar, and read on for all the details.
Missoni for Target: September 13th
Dropping in stores in a mere 10 days, Target’s latest designer collaboration includes over 400 items for women, kids, office, tabletop, patio, and more by Italian design house Missoni. Even if you are unfamiliar with the legendary label by name (or simply not as obsessed as we here at DFW Style Daily), its signature colorful zig-zag patterns will no doubt ring a bell. This collection has ‘hit’ written all over it, and we plan to shop early for the best selection.
As you count down the days, you can whet your appetite by checking out the full Missoni for Target lookbook via Racked. There’s also a 20-page spread in this month’s Vogue. Perhaps best of all, prices for these items start at under $10.
The Dallas Flea: September 24th
Moving on, The Dallas Flea will make its next quarterly appearance at South Side on Lamar on September 24th. Just $5 gets you in the door to browse dozens of Texas-based vendors offering everything from vintage clothing and jewelry to furniture and cake balls. Click here to view a gallery of pics.
Among our favorite recent finds are Snooty Peacock jewelry, classic men’s prep clothing from Old Money Vintage, and shabby-chic home accessories by Uptown Country Home. We recommend arriving in the a.m., to beat the crowds and the heat (South Side isn’t fully climate-controlled).
