After a one-year break, The Pin Show has announced its return. The next installment of Dallas’ popular independent fashion showcase will occur on February 23rd, 2012 at The Fairmont Dallas.
Founded in 2007 by Rachel Nichelson and Julie McCullough Kim, the show initially ran for three consecutive years, providing a platform for up-and-coming designers, photographers, and stylists from Texas and across the country. Past shows have attracted audiences of 1500 or more to view some 150 individual looks from up to 30 designers.

With its return, the show is now helmed by original founder Kim and new Executive Director, Bryan Embry (pictured above). Also new this year, in addition to February’s production, local indies can apply for an Artist in Residency opportunity through The Fairmont Dallas and the Ross Akard Gallery. More than $2,000 in grants will also be awarded this time around.
Applications are now being accepted, with a deadline of October 15
