Frocks Boutique Moves to Uptown

Indie boutique Frocks has been on our radar almost since the day it opened in the winter of ’09. Owner Ashley Omessi stocks affordable clothing for both men and women, skewing trendy and heavy on under-the-radar labels she sources at market. The store’s frequent happy hour and sale events, as well as Omessi’s ever-expanding selection, have proved this is no hobby of a venture for the young entrepreneur.

In keeping with her ‘onward and upward’ trajectory, Omessi has just relocated Frocks from Addison Circle to the heart of Uptown. Opening Tuesday, July 19th, at 2805 Allen Street, #119, she now counts Matthew Tully Salon and i Fratelli Pizza as neighbors.

In a conversation with DFW Style Daily Omessi expanded, “My favorite part about the new neighborhood is the fact that there is always the hustle and bustle of city life. With Starbucks and other great businesses on the same block as the new location, there is a constant stream of people.”

True that.  You can hear crickets chirp in Addison Circle on most weekday mornings and afternoons. Plus, we’ll be far more likely to visit on a regular basis now that we don’t have to contend with Tollway traffic in order to shop at Frocks.
